Humans have messed around with freshwater habitats more than any other habitat on Earth! We drain wetlands to develop over them, and dam up rivers to supply electricity and water to cities and irrigation for farms.

i hate that humans have to distroy animals humitat and all the construction why can’t we just all be friends with the earth by not puluting it and just leaving the animals and there habitats I LOVE ANIMALS SOOOOOO MUCH I HATE TO SEE THEM DIE OR GET HURT

I once passed by a big lake with a man-made dam when I was little when we were going to BC. And it was full of water, but when we were going back home and we passed by that same lake. AND I WAS ASTONISHED AT WHAT I SAW!!!!!! The lake had dried up and it was like a desert! There was only a little puddle in the middle of the lake. And since I never heard of a man-made dam before I was really confused. It was so sad, I felt like crying.
