Its great what their doing to protect the turtles but won’t the mother turtle be freaked out when she finds out her eggs are gone?

    Great question, bobara777!

Nope she doesn’t freak out! After a mother turtle lays her eggs, she leaves the nest and doesn’t come back. The babies are left to hatch on their own. The Toronto Zoo inspects these nests, looking for ones that are in places that put the babies at risk. These are the eggs that they help out.
