Pit stop! Almost half of all the birds in North America<\/strong> rely on the boreal forest at some point during the year. About 3 billions birds use the forest for breeding and about 300 million stop by during migration. Some birds like woodpeckers, owls, ravens and finches live in the forest all year because they have adapted to the winter climate.<\/p>\n
