International Day of Friendship has been celebrated on July 30th since 2011, when the United Nations decided to recognize a day to involve young people in community activities that can include different cultures and promote international understanding and respect for diversity. You can be a leader in your community by getting out and leading some friendly competition that helps our planet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you really need is someone to time two (or more) competitors to see who can fill a bag of trash the fastest! Your competition can be even be done remotely, between two households.
