Or some snazzy lighting to warm up a cool fall evening? This fun DIY\/upcycle craft will cross both off your list, with a nod to #WorldMaritimeDay \u2013 that\u2019s today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blue tissue paper (for the water)<\/li><li>Multicoloured tissue paper, or newspaper (for your&nbsp;fishies!)<\/li><li>Fish bowls (or other glass containers \u2013 a&nbsp;used\/clean pickle jar would work!)<\/li><li>White school glue<\/li><li>Water<\/li><li>Glitter<\/li><li>Decorative stones (optional)<\/li><li>An LED candle or tealight<\/li><li>Paint brush(es)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/EN\/CA\/wp-content\/uploads\/ArtSupplies.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-582306\" width=\"285\" height=\"316\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mix roughly 3 parts glue with 1 part warm water.<\/li><li>Cut your tissue paper into roughly 2in x 2in pieces and your chosen \u201cfish paper\u201d into&nbsp;fish shapes.<\/li><li>On the outside of your glass bowl, paint on some of your glue and water mixture,&nbsp;stick on your tissue paper, then paint a light layer of glue over top. Allow it to dry&nbsp;and add another layer or two on.<\/li><li>Once your \u201cwater\u201d layers are set, add in your fishies! Layer on the glue in the same&nbsp;way that you did with your \u201cwater\u201d paper. Allow it to fully dry (maybe overnight,&nbsp;depending on how messy you get!).<\/li><li>Add any finishing bedazzlement, including decorative stones inside your bowl&nbsp;before putting your light inside.<\/li><li>Light it up and sing a fun maritime song!
