Then this is challenge is for\nyou! A carbon footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted into\nthe atmosphere owing to an individual\u2019s or group\u2019s consumption of fossil fuels.\nTo reduce our carbon footprints, we can do all sorts of things, like eat local,\nbe aware of energy usage and try to limit how often we use vehicles! For this\nactivity, walk or take your bike to the grocery store instead of a car, and\nload up on some fresh food to help shrink your carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tips for your grocery sprint:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make sure you\u2019re with a parent or guardian<\/li><li>If you\u2019re biking or taking a scooter, always wear a helmet!<\/li><li>If possible, bring put a basket on your bike or bring along a wagon to store all your grocery goods.
