For today\u2019s Eco-Activity, we\u2019ll show you how to make a pumpkin bird feeder for our flying friends!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"189\" src=\"\/EN\/CA\/wp-content\/uploads\/N4items.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-587482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.earthrangers.com\/EN\/CA\/wp-content\/uploads\/N4items.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.earthrangers.com\/EN\/CA\/wp-content\/uploads\/N4items-300x95.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1.&nbsp;<\/strong>Cut your jack-o\u2019-lantern in half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2.&nbsp;<\/strong>To make the first perch, push one of the sticks through the wall of the pumpkin, leaving enough room for a bird to stand on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.<\/strong>&nbsp;To make the second perch, repeat step 2 but on the opposite side of the pumpkin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4.&nbsp;<\/strong>Put your two ropes together and tie a knot in the middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5.<\/strong>&nbsp;Place your pumpkin over top of the knot and spread the rope out evenly. When you pick up the rope, it should cradle the pumpkin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6.&nbsp;<\/strong>Put the tack through the knot in the rope and into the pumpkin to make sure it stays in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7.<\/strong>&nbsp;Decide where you want to hang your bird feeder. It could be off a tree branch or even a hook outside.
