Everyone could use a narwhal as a pal. After all, who wouldn\u2019t want a friend with the nickname \u201cunicorn of the sea\u201d? For today\u2019s Eco-Activity, we\u2019re getting crafty and turning an old toilet paper roll into an adorable narwhal buddy!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s how to make it:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong> Flatten your toilet paper roll and draw the outline of a whale. It will need an upright fin at the back and a large head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. <\/strong>Cut along the bottom of your toilet paper roll so it opens up and cut out the pieces that won\u2019t be part of your narwhal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. <\/strong>Paint the\ntoilet paper roll the colour you want for \n\nyour narwhal\u2019s body. \n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. <\/strong>While\nyou\u2019re waiting for the body to dry, make some fins out of construction\npaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. <\/strong>Next, make your narwhal\u2019s horn. Cut a quarter of a circle out of construction paper and roll up it up to  make a thin cone. Secure it with a little glue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. <\/strong>Once the paint is dry, glue the horn and fins in place. Next, add googly eyes or make your own from construction paper or paint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. <\/strong>Add a little smile and your narwhal buddy is complete! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
