Did you think we were talking about\nhumans? Nah! We\u2019re talking about bighorn sheep! They are just one of the\nincredible climbers in the animal kingdom. It\u2019s teeny-tiny hairs (called setae) on the bottom of their\nfeet. The molecules in these hairs are attracted to the molecules in the\nsurface they\u2019re climbing. The trick has to do with the muscles in\ntheir underside. They use them to grip on to the edges of rocks or bark. They can stick\nand unstick these hairs very quickly. Just like bighorn sheep, the secret lies in their\nhooves. They are wide and rough, which give them balance and grip. They are\nalso expert jumpers.
