The Battery Blitz contest officially kicks off next week on National Battery Day (February 18th<\/sup>), and what better way to spend the long weekend than preparing your very own battery collection box! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From butterflies, to superheroes, to robots, the choices are endless! Put your creative skills to the test or, if you need a bit of help getting started, we\u2019ve created a step-by-step guide to build a Terrific Tiger Battery Box!<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n

Once you have your awesome battery collection box, you can start safely collecting all of the used batteries around your house for proper recycling. You can even ask friends and family to help you collect even more! Just remember to tape over both ends of each battery or package them in their own individual plastic bags for safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can then drop off your used battery haul at a designated Recycle Your Batteries Canada location near you<\/strong><\/a>, snap a picture of yourself in action, and submit your contest form online or in the Earth Rangers App for your chance to win! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here\u2019s the best part: there are LOTS of fun prizes to be won for all of your hard work! One winner from each province will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and a super cool Earth Rangers swag bag. Plus, one grand prize winner will even take home an iPad! <\/p>\n\n\n
