We\u2019ve got some electrifying news, Earth Rangers\u2026 the Battery Blitz contest has officially come to an end and we couldn\u2019t be prouder of how you all showed up and helped make a huge impact!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Our 2026 Battery Blitz Champion<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge congratulations to our grand prize winner, Earth Ranger Z\u00e9lia from Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, who collected an incredible 236 batteries<\/strong>! That\u2019s an amazing achievement and a huge win for the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n

By taking the time to collect and recycle so many batteries (almost 75,000, to be exact!)<\/strong>, you\u2019ve helped keep harmful materials out of landfills and protected wildlife habitats. That\u2019s what being an Earth Ranger is all about! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The impact\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0stop there! From coast to coast, Earth Rangers stepped up to take\u00a0action\u00a0and the results\u00a0speak\u00a0for themselves. We also had outstanding prize winners from\u00a0almost\u00a0every\u00a0province, each going\u00a0above and beyond\u00a0to make a difference in their communities.\u00a0Check out some of their photos below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Big Impact<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, Earth Rangers across Canada collected a total of 74,686 batteries<\/strong> during the 2026 Battery Blitz Contest! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s THOUSANDS of batteries that will now be safely recycled instead of ending up in landfills, where they can leak harmful chemicals into the soil and water. Every single battery recycled helps protect animals, plants, and ecosystems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incredible initiative wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the support of our amazing partners at Recycle Your Batteries, Canada!<\/strong>. Their commitment to safe and responsible battery recycling helped make Battery Blitz a success from start to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n
