My name is Ashley Sahulka, and I\u2019m a Stewardship Coordinator with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). I\u2019m working with a team of conservationists in the Cypress Uplands, a region in the southern part of Saskatchewan that includes a range of habitats\u2014from grasslands to forests\u2014in Cypress Hills. Here in the taiga (also known as the snow forest or boreal forest), we see a lot of wildlife, including lynxes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, the lynxes\u2019 habitat has been affected by spruce bark beetles, which have killed a lot of trees.
