Whales, Trails and Polar Bear Tales Contest Winners

Last April tons of Earth Ranger kids entered the Whales, Trails and Polar Bear Tales contest for a chance to win an incredible Arctic adventure to Churchill Manitoba. These kids kept their fingers crossed while dreaming of the Arctic and hoping for a chance to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.

And now, the wait is over…the Whales, Trails and Polar Bear Tails Contest winners are, ‘drum roll please’… Emma from New Brunswick, Madilyn from Saskatchewan, Matisse from Ontario and Julia from Alberta!

These contest winners headed out with their families and the Earth Rangers team to Churchill Manitoba from August 15 to August 20, 2013. Tag along on their trip in this video and see some of the amazing things they got up to, from kayaking with belugas to meeting polar bears and searching for fossils.

  1. Oh my goodness, that is soooo cool! Can you have more contests like that. I really want to be a marine biologist, although I am of course trying to keep my options open, but I am pretty sure that it will most likely have something to with science, and probably animals too.

  2. I would love to visit the Bahamas some day. I know that when I grow up I want to do something with animals. I hope one day I can win a contest like that!
