Top Ten Green Back to School Tips


Earth Rangers has the cure for the Back to School Blues: a BIG dose of Green! This September, head back to class with an extra eco-spring in your step with these top 10 tips to make this school year Greener than Ever!

  1. (1) Make a litter less lunch: Show that garbage pail whose boss by making a lunch that leaves out the trash.
  2. (2) Get going with a walking school bus: Head to school in style by walking, biking or boarding your way to class.
  3. (3) Eco-friendly school supplies: When buying new school supplies think green. There are tons of options out there for all you Earth Rangers from recycled paper, to refillable pens and pencils.
  4. (4) Use recycled goods for craft supplies: Before buying new craft supplies think about reusing goods for your school projects like this bird feeder made from a recycled milk carton.
  5. (5) Keep old clothes out of landfills: You may be excited to wear your new clothes this September but don’t forget about last year’s model. You can find a new home for some of your old clothes (if they are in good condition) by swapping them with a friend or donating them.
