Earth Ranger Jacob: Adding light to the world

Jacob, from Decatur, Georgia, was looking for a way to make a difference by supporting the animals he loves. This enthusiastic Earth Ranger was determined to help wildlife that live in the ocean. Jacob and his family decided to jump feet first into the Toxic Takedown Mission and tackle single-use plastics!

“I wanted to save and stop toxins that make their way into bodies of water. We decided to chose an Earth Ranger Mission as part of our Chanukah celebration to add light to the world for our global community. I had so much fun saving animals and saving bodies of water. My favorite activity was making “plastico de natural!”

Earth Ranger Alexandra

Ranger Alexandra from El Rito, New Mexico learned through the Live Love Local Mission that a lot of the produce her family was consuming came from far away. So in order to reduce their farm-to-table distance, they found a local farmer’s market. When asked if they would continue to buy more local food, Alexandra answered “Definitely!”
