Clean a shoreline and help make the world a safer place for the wildlife we share it with! Your Mission:

Mission Objective:

There’s nothing quite like a day at the beach. You can relax in the sun, play in the water, go fishing, and of course, be on the lookout for animals. But you know what really ruins a great beach day? Litter! For birds and marine mammals, garbage and human food also put them in danger! That’s why it’s important to become a Shoreline Saver and help make the world a cleaner, safer place for the wildlife we share it with.

To complete this Mission, kids will…

  • Read through the Mission Brief to learn about the problems with shoreline waste.
  • Head out with their team of Shoreline Savers (and a grown-up) to a shore that needs their help.
  • Follow the steps laid out in the Mission Brief to help keep them, their team, and any wildlife they find safe while they clean.
  • Keep track of the litter they collect with the litter tracking sheet.

Mission Items:

When members accept this Mission, they receive a Mission Brief and a litter tracking sheet.
