Earth Rangers and Sanford Harmony Partner to Help Youth Build Essential Life Skills for a Better Future

Partnership brings research-based tools for emotional awareness, perspective taking, and collaborative problem solving to kids and families through Earth Rangers

September 30th, 2026

WOODBRIDGE, ON — Earth Rangers, an organization that engages kids and families across Canada and the United States in environmental learning and action, is excited to announce a partnership with Sanford Harmony at National University. This trusted national resource for educators, schools, and families provides practical tools and research-aligned resources to help foster the development of essential life skills in youth, better equipping them to navigate challenges, work with others, and take action on issues they care about – including protecting the environment.

As part of the partnership, content from the Harmony Curriculum has been embedded into the Earth Rangers Ready for Anything Mission, a free interactive experience. The Mission helps kids and families learn about increasing incidents of extreme weather caused by climate change and prepare for emergencies by creating their own emergency kit and family plan. As they work together to get Ready for Anything, participants also develop essential life skills such as emotional awareness, perspective taking, and collaborative problem solving, building the confidence and resilience needed to face challenges both big and small.

“At Earth Rangers, empowering young people to create positive change starts with helping them develop the skills needed to tackle real-world challenges. By combining Earth Rangers’ expertise in empowering young people to take environmental action with Sanford Harmony’s evidence-informed approach to belonging and well-being, the partnership creates a n even more impactful experience for participants.” said Tovah Barocas, President of Earth Rangers.

The new Ready for Anything mission is available for free on Earth Rangers.com. Through experiences like Ready for Anything, Earth Rangers helps young people build confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing them to confront challenges, like those caused by climate change, in a productive and healthy way.
