Nature Dice Seekers

Nature Dice Seekers

Time:45 min Difficulty:Medium

Numbers are an important part of nature! If you look, you may notice a clover with four leaves instead of three. What other numbers of objects can a seeker like you bring back?

About the game:

Here’s what you need:

  • A six-sided dice
  • Your favourite outdoor space
  • Friends or family to join you on your dice game

Here’s how you make it:

Step 1: Track!

Make your way to your favourite outdoor space. It could be your local park, a walking trail, a beach, or even your backyard!

Step 2:

Create a circle. You can use some rocks, a rope, or even bring a bucket to serve as a “circle space”. Get creative! All you need is it to be the start and end spot of the game.

Step 3:

Start playing! Your goal: Throw your dice to see what number it gives you and pick an object found in nature.

Step 4:

Start exploring and looking around! Collect the dice-rolled number of your chosen object and bring them back to the circle. Work as a team, or challenge a friend to see who can get them all first!

Step 5:

Once the dice-chosen number of objects has been found, the players can swap places so that someone new rolls the dice and picks the object each time.

What object did you pick when you were the one choose? What number did your dice roll? How long did it take each of you to find the object? Let us know in the comments!
