Mission Objective:

The More Plastic, More Problems Mission educates kids about the importance of reducing their reliance on single-use plastics (SUPs). Kids learn how many of the things we use regularly are made from plastic, as it is a cheap substitute for wood and metal. But cheaper doesn’t always mean better, and SUPs are a serious pollutant and climate change contributor.

To complete this Mission, kids will…

  • Read through the Mission Brief to learn about the problems with single-use plastics.
  • Compete with their family in the Cut the SUP Challenge to reduce the amount of single-use plastics they use.
  • Sign the pledge to cut single-use plastics out of their life.

Mission Items:

When members accept this Mission, they receive a Mission Brief to help them understand the problem with single-use plastic, pledge and tracking sheet.
