When this eagle was found on a golf course, he couldn’t fly and no one knew why. That’s when the team from Busch Wildlife Sanctuary came in to save the day. They started nursing him back to health, but the real mystery remained: Would he be able to fly again?

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has been saving animals in Florida for decades. Since 1983, the kind folks at the Sanctuary have been taking in injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife…and boy, have they been busy! In an average year, they help thousands of animal patients rest, recover, and, in most cases, return to the wild where they belong.
Along with saving lives, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary prides itself on educating the public about conservation. Guess what? Like Earth Rangers, they have animal ambassadors that help to teach people about protecting and preserving wildlife and nature!
