Learning about wolves – how they hunt, how they behave, and all about their pups – is the goal of the Voyageurs Wolf Project. But how do you track a predator like a wolf? With cleverly placed cameras, of course! Some wolves are outfitted with collar cameras, and others are placed strategically throughout the forest.
By observing wolves without interfering with their natural behaviors, the team at the Voyageurs Wolf Project has learned a ton of useful information about these beautiful animals. This information will be used to help with wolf protection and conservation – and that’s something to howl about!
