This mountain lion cub was in rough shape when he got to Ramona Wildlife Center. After being hit by a car, he couldn’t put weight on his back leg. But a cast wouldn’t be enough to help this wild cat walk again. Can the team from San Diego Humane Society fix his leg and get him back to the wild?
Special thanks to our friends at San Diego Humane Society. Check out their socials @sdhumanesociety to see the amazing work they do.
San Diego Humane Society

When wild animals get hurt or ill, they can’t just call an ambulance or head to the hospital, so what’s a sick critter to do? Thankfully, there are places like the San Diego Humane Society, staffed with people who know exactly how to help animals in need. In fact, each year they give a helping hand to over 40,000 fortunate animals!
Not only do they give medical assistance to wild animals, but the San Diego Humane Society also provides critters with shelter, cares for stray pets, and helps furry, feathery and scaly friends get adopted into their forever homes.
For their kind and compassionate approach to animal care, we want to give a warm Earth Rangers thank you to the good people at the San Diego Humane Society.
