A Scavenger Hunter's Paradise!
You know what’s great about Ontario? All the plants and animals we share our province with! A big shout out to the more than 600 protected areas that keep them safe. One protected area is so HUGE that it has several provincial and national parks inside it! It’s the Ontario Greenbelt, stretching over 2 million acres! It protects farmland, forests, wetland, rivers, and so much more! It’s also home to 78 species at risk of disappearing. If you do your scavenger hunt there, maybe you’ll get to see one!
