What makes nature special to you?
Maybe it's a tiny bee you found on a flower in your backyard. Maybe it's a towering tree in your favourite park. Or maybe it's a colourful sunset, a peaceful stream, a funky mushroom, or a silly squirrel — nature is full of beauty, and we want to see it through your eyes!
Grab a camera or cellphone, head outside, and capture a photo of a wild plant, animal, or natural space that helps you feel connected to nature. Then tell us why you chose it, what makes it meaningful to you, and how it represents your love for nature.
Three lucky photographers will be picked to win an amazing prize package from Canon Canada!
How to Enter
Get Outside
Visit a nearby natural space and look for something that catches your eye. Remember, nature can be found almost anywhere, from your backyard to a local park, trail, pond, or greenspace.
Take Your Photo
Snap a photo that shows what you love about nature. Try experimenting with different angles, lighting, and perspectives to create a photo that's uniquely yours.
Tell Your Story
Along with your photo, submit a short description explaining why you chose it and how it represents your connection to, and love for, nature.

What Are We Looking For?
We're looking for photos that celebrate nature and show us something meaningful through your eyes. Your entry will be judged on:
Photo Quality
This looks at composition, creativity, focus, and overall visual impact.
Your Story
This looks at how well your description explains your photo and your connection to nature.
Remember: A great photo isn't always about having the fanciest camera! Sometimes the most powerful images come from noticing something others might miss.
