Learn how Indigenous Guardians care for the planet, and then look at your own greenspace. Your Mission:

Mission Objective:

Indigenous Peoples have been the caretakers and guardians of the Earth for thousands of years. We can learn a lot about how to protect the planet by looking at the conservation work they’ve done. Be inspired by them and take action to protect your favourite greenspace.

To complete this Mission, kids will…

  • Read through the Mission Brief to learn how Indigenous Guardians take care of their land.
  • Pick a greenspace and learn what Traditional Indigenous Territories it’s on.
  • Take action to protect and care for their greenspace.
  • Share their greenspace and what they’ve learned with someone close to them.

Mission Items:

When members accept this Mission, they receive a Mission Brief to help them get started!
