Where do the Monarchs Go?

Monarchs are known for the incredible journeys they take through North America each year. While Monarchs from the eastern population winter in Central Mexico’s volcanic mountain chain, those from the western population winter along California’s coast.

  1. Hello Earth rangers,

Okay this is what i think, i think this makes no scenes because this fact about monarchs doesn’t tell us where they go it tell us facts about the place that they have to go, now if your gonna tell us about where monarchs go then actually tell us and don’t tell us facts about where there supposed to go because your gonna make no scenes now tell us sensible scenes in stead of making no scenes at all gosh people make more scenes.

  2. This summer I went to Point Pelee and saw hundreds of Monarch butterflies in the fields and on the trees. There were lots of dragonflies too. The Monarchs were migrating from northern Ontario and eastern Canada to Mexico. I had never seen so many butterflies in my life. It was amazing!

  3. Dear moniters at Earthrangers in ontario or wherever you are,

I like the new style on the earthrangers website but miss one thing that I was really hoping you coould add that you got rid of when the website changed! It is those story-telling topics where you start a story and each person can write the next part of the story until it ended! That was really fun!

    Thank-you for your patience,
    Fellow Earthranger Gabjas

  4. Hi Gabjas it’s great to have you back, thanks for your input about the story-telling, we are hoping to include spots where kids can submit stories and drawings in the future. For now please keep letting us know your thoughts here in the comments section!
