Mission Objective:

Single-use plastic bottles are a problem for animals and the planet, taking about 1,000 years to break down. Some people drink bottled water because they think it tastes better than tap water, but many of us can’t tell the difference. In the Water Taste Challenge Mission, kids will test their family and friends’ taste buds to find out which one they actually prefer.

To complete this Mission, kids will…

• Read through the Mission Brief to learn about the impact plastic water bottles have on animals.
• Invite their family and friends to take a blind water taste test.
• Record their results using the ballots and results sheet.
• Take the “Clear Choice Pledge” to choose tap water instead of bottled water whenever they can.
