A wild barn owl is stuck on a barbed wire fence and he’s in big trouble! With an injured wing and no way to fly, rescuers rush in to help. But can they free him from the sharp wires? And even if they do, can this owl recover and return to the wild?

Chintimini Wildlife Center

It takes a special kind of person to help wild animals recover from being injured, ill, or orphaned, but that’s exactly the type of hard work the good folks at Chintimini Wildlife Center in Oregon do every day.
Chintimini Wildlife Center is equipped to assist amphibians, birds, reptiles, and mammals – they can do it all! And they’re also big into sharing their good work with the community. Not only can kids drop by with their classes for a visit, but they can also go to camp at the center and learn a TON about wild animals – how cool is that?
With help from many capable volunteers, and the skills of some incredible vets and staff members, Chintimini Wildlife Center is making a real difference to Oregon’s animals. For that, we’d like to say a huge Earth Rangers congratulations!
